Skylab is the first major monograph of the eponymous architecture and design studio based in Portland, Oregon, and founded by Jeff Kovel in 1999. Known for a range of spectacular residences designed for some of the creative city's leading lights, as well as music venues and high-profile projects for Nike, Skylab's unique approach has made it one of the most innovative studios in the Pacific Northwest. In this first monograph, presenting over two decades of work, the story of Skylab is told by a number of influential people through reflective essays, interviews, conversations and anecdotes.

The book is a covetable object in itself, based on the concept of an album or LP, with inside front- and back-cover gatefolds and nine foldout posters inside the book.
