The book will feature highlights from the last six years: Grantees whose work facilitates transformative change including Gibney's therapeutic engagement with survivors of domestic violence, Young New Yorkers work with court-involved youth, and W.A.G.E.'s advocacy for fair pay to artists); documentation of exhibitions at The 8th Floor like In the Power of Your Care, Enacting Stillness, The Intersectional Self, and the exhibition series Revolutionary Cycles; initiatives like Access Check: Mapping Accessibility 2.0; discursive texts about philanthropy, critically engaged art, and activist art practices; and several newly commissioned artworks within the publication.
