The first part of the book relates to lectures given by local researchers. The second part concerns the tentative designs and resilience in the face of modern challenges. Again, the proposals at  Naples's persistence in hosting Europe's historical richness through time, and its great diversity of people and uses throughout space. Perhaps because it was the last stop on the Grand Tour, surely because its beauty is highly seductive, one cannot remain indifferent to the millennial city of Naples. The first part of the book relates to lectures given by local researchers. The second part concerns the tentative designs and resilience in the face of modern challenges. Again, the proposals at Naples's persistence in hosting Europe's historical richness through time, and its great diversity of people and uses throughout space.
