In spite of the passage of time, there still exist certain locations which are so charged with history that memories instantly surface; places where it is impossible to forget the past.
The Normandy American Cemetery is one such garden of remembrance.
Devoted to the American soldiers who fell in Normandy during the Second World War, this cemetery was initially visited only by their families. Today the site welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors every year from all around the World who wish to pay their respects to ensure that these soldiers will never be forgotten.
