In the Kingdom of Uglies, there came one day a travalling salesman who would make the people beautiful... "Twice upon a time - for in this story, things happen and then un- happen - there was a kingdom of ugly people. Our story begins with a not-so-pretty-princess married to a not-so-handsome-prince.
The kingdom was ruled by a not-so-handsome-King, married to a not-so-pretty-Queen. Together, they had a second daughter, the not-so-pretty Luette, who liked to write poems that don´t rhyme and sing songs out of tune.
In this unattractive kingdom, everybody and everything was, in fact, quite ugly. But it was a kingdom ruled by peace. Everybody lived together quite happily."
