«Ils ne sont pas tous bergers ou fromagers ceux qui ont porté le bredzon.» La plupart sont anonymes et n'ont jamais porté le bredzon, le fameux costume fribourgeois. Ils ont accepté de poser dans le hall d'un centre commercial d'une grande agglomération, loin, très loin des paysages alpestres du canton de Fribourg (Suisse) où ce costume est traditionnellement porté. Par le projet de Jean-Luc Cramatte, ils ont répondu à la question «et si le bredzon disparaissait?». Leur réponse est sans équivoque: le bredzon doit absolument subsister. Derrière cette constatation se cache la crainte de la perte d'une identité rattrapée par la mondialisation. Dans cette grande fête artistique célébrant le «bredzon forever», des écrivains, des artistes et designers ont répondu à l'appel de Jean-Luc Cramatte et posent d'une certaine façon leur regard sur le bredzon du futur.
«Bredzons are not only worn by shepherds and cheesemakers.» Most are anonymous and have never worn the bredzon, the famous Fribourgeois costume. They agreed to pose in the lobby of a shopping center in a large urban area, far, far away from the Alpine landscapes of the Swiss Canton of Fribourg, where the costume was traditionally worn. For the project of Jean-Luc Cramatte, participants responded to the question «what if the bredzons disappeared?» The responses were unequivocal: «bredzons must absolutely continue to exist!» Underlying this statement is the fear of loss of identity overtaken by globalization. In this telling artistic endeavor celebrating the «bredzon forever,» writers, artists and designers, all responded to the call of Jean-Luc Cramatte to propose their views of the future of the bredzon.
