At the beginning, the writer examines the place and time when the human species settled down in the Universe HERE and NOW. He then singles out humans since their creation and explores life on earth. He thinks life makes sense, originating in God and leading to mankind. After an interlude about the writer's childhood autobiography, he gets to the point of hoping for Eternity following life on earth. He attempts to get into Eternity through sensations. Finally, he lays out possible pathways from mankind to God through the soul and reach out to Eternity. The epilogue is based on christian belief. A personal addendum deals with the Virgin 's apparitions in Lourdes, France.
